Reviews about Mancini's Sleepworld

Updated 10/04/2017 Mancini corporate contacted me via my google review and had me call their corporate customer service who replaced my faulty base with a new one. They stood by their customer and I really appreciate it. I hope they provide better training to their store personnel on warranties and repairs so that no one walks away upset as I did. Thanks ******* Bought a adjustable motorized bed frame and mattress about 2 years ago and was very pleased until the attached box spring on the frame started squeaking. Since all of the stuff was still under warranty, called mancini’s fremont store (where I purchased)and was told that I need to call the manufacturer of the adjustable frame for warranty claims since mancini does not initiate or service the warranty. Disappointed, called the manufacturer who in turn tells me that squeaking is normal wear and tear and cannot start the warranty process on it. They said that if it was really loud, I should make a video of it and send it in. I told them that i was disabled and cannot remove the mattress and video the box spring to which they said that they cannot help me. I called Mancini back and spoke with John who was helpful. He said that he’ll make a few calls on my behalf. After a couple of days, got a call from an independent mattress inspector that John had called. He setup an appointment to come by and have a look at the issue which he did. After a couple of weeks, I got a letter saying that there is a manufacturing defect on the frame/box spring causing the issue and that I should call where I bought it from. I went to mancini last week and spoke with the store manager Ted who seemed least interested in helping me. He basically said that I need to call the manufacturer. I told him that John had arranged the inspection and he said that John was new and had no idea on what he was doing and that’s why he is no longer with the company. When you buy your expensive mattress sets be sure to ask on who services what part of the set under warranty. Mancini does not stand by what they sell and have poor customer service when you need things fixed! Never going to be a customer of theirs again..hope that the management reads the review and takes action preventing more dissatisfied customers who trust them

I needed to find a good mattress for my back issues. When I went into the store, the salesman told me all about the mattresses and the policies, I thought. He talked for a good 5 minutes explaining that if I didn't like the mattress I could find one that suited my needs. On their radio commercials they claimed to be experts on mattresses to help you find the mattress that would be perfect for you. I explained the issues and he told me that his is the mattress for me. They delivered that afternoon. I slept on it that night and had the worst night of sleep I've ever had due to the mattress. I went back the next day to get a different mattress and the manager was there. He told me that I could not get another mattress until I slept on this one for 30 days. I told him that the salesman yesterday did not mention that policy. The manager pointed to some cards on the sales counter and told me that the policies are right there. I told him, that I sat there and listened to his salesman give me all that information then turn around and rea the policies, too. What is the salesman's job???? I told him that is really too soft. Then he said that the 30 policy was for mattresses that were too hard. I was wondering what was the difference. He told me to find a mattress and they would have it delivered in a couple of days. I found one, and the mattresses are not cheap there, but it would be my last, hopefully and I wanted a good one. The new mattress was delivered and it was better for about a couple of months. Then it started getting a big dip in it where I slept. I asked about their policy again and it was for one mattress exchange only. Well, I thought I would try and flip the mattress. I've never seen a mattress that you could not flip, but I bought one at Sleep World. I slept on it flipped, but it was very uncomfortable because it wasn't made to flip. I tried it anyway hoping that it would even out, but no luck. I just went to Costco, where I had intended to go originally, and bought a new one for 1/2 the price. Buyer Beware!!!!
